MINNESOTA

Gov. Jesse Ventura was in stable condition after being hospitalized for treatment of a blood clot in his lung, his spokesman said.
Spokesman John Wodele said Ventura, who will turn 51 Monday, was being treated with blood thinners at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, a St. Paul suburb.
Ventura, an independent who does not plant to seek reelection in the fall, was to spend the night in the hospital.
A pulmonary embolism ended Ventura’s professional wrestling career in the mid-1980s.
