Gobble These Sloppy Joes
These Sloppy Joes are made with ground turkey instead of hamburger. If you’re serving them at a backyard party, they’ll be sure to please those looking for something lighter among the big burgers, heavy salads and rich desserts.
Keep the calories down, too, by using small hamburger buns, not kaiser rolls or oversized buns. Each bun holds about one-half cup of filling--not too sloppy.
The filling can be made a day ahead and reheated. Just grill the buns at the last minute; spray them with nonstick cooking spray or lightly brush them with oil before placing them on the grill.
