Update--With Cobi Jones starting, expect Alejandro Moreno to join former starters Mauricio Cienfuegos and Danny Califf on the bench. World Cup-tested forward Landon Donovan will be back in San Jose’s starting lineup, but the Earthquakes will be without midfielder Richard Mulrooney, who was issued a red card last weekend, and defender Jeff Agoos, who is out with a strained right calf. San Jose forward Ariel Graziani is tied for the league lead in scoring with 23 points. The Earthquakes lead the league in goals (25), assists (34) and fewest goals allowed (14).
