Downtown Fullerton presents its 13th annual Community Fireworks Show and Festival at Fullerton High School Stadium. Thursday’s event features clowns, pony rides, balloon art and live music, culminating at 9 p.m. with a fireworks show by Pyrospectaculars of Rialto. The Independence Day Celebration at San Juan Capistrano Sports Park includes carnival rides, game booths, a rock-climbing wall and country music by the Doo Wah Riders. Music by Steel Parade and Swing Shift leads off the Fireworks Extravaganza at Dana Point Harbor, with the aerial show starting at 9 p.m. Thursday.
