Girl, 16, Charged With Abandoning Infant Son
A 16-year-old girl accused of dumping her newborn son in a Monrovia trash bin last week was charged Tuesday with attempted murder and child endangerment.
The girl, whose name is not being released because she is a minor, is expected to enter a plea today in Pasadena Juvenile Court.
The boy was suffering from hypothermia and dehydration when found. He was placed with foster parents Friday.
