Holiday Closings
Martin Luthur King Jr.’s birthday is celebrated Monday, and the following schedule will be observed:
* All county, state and federal offices will be closed.
* Most city offices will be open, but some will be closed; call to check.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* County libraries as well as city libraries in Anaheim, Buena Park, Mission Viejo and Newport Beach will be closed; city libraries in Fullerton, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda will be open.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed.
* Public schools, community colleges, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will not hold classes.
* Mail will not be delivered and all post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash will be collected on the normal schedule.
* Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their normal schedule.
* Metrolink trains will run on their normal schedule.
