Domingo to Be Honored With an Ella Award
Placido Domingo, the artistic director of Los Angeles Opera, will receive the Ella Award from the Society of Singers at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on May 30. Previous recipients include award namesake Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney and Tony Bennett.
