Eight Chosen to Play in McDonald’s Games
Westchester High forward Hassan Adams, Fairfax forward Evan Burns and Inglewood center DeAngelo Collins have been selected to compete for the West team in the McDonald’s All-American boys’ basketball game April 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Santa Ana Mater Dei Coach Gary McKnight will guide the 12-member West squad.
Selected to the West girls’ team were Pasadena Muir center Tye’sha Fluker, Harbor City Narbonne forward Willnett Crocket, Ventura Buena forward Courtney LaVere, Playa del Rey St. Bernard guard Alexis Kendrick and Lynwood guard Janice Bright.
