Last week: Bruce Lietzke won the Audi Senior Classic in Mexico, closing with a five-under 67 for a one-stroke victory over Hale Irwin and Gary McCord.
Notes: Lietzke has three victories in 14 senior starts.

Purse: $4.7 million. Winner’s share: $846,000.
Television: USA (Today-Friday, 4-6 p.m.) and Channel 4 (Saturday-Sunday, noon-3 p.m.).
Last year: Joe Durant won in consecutive starts, beating Canada’s Mike Weir by two strokes. Durant won the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in his previous tournament.
Last week: Kevin Sutherland won the Match Play Championship, beating childhood friend Scott McCarron, 1-up, in the 36-hole final at La Costa. Sutherland, at No. 62 the highest-seeded player to win the World Golf Championship event, also beat David Duval, Paul McGinley, Jim Furyk, David Toms and Brad Faxon.... Canada’s Ian Leggatt won the Tucson Open for his first tour title, beating Loren Roberts and David Peoples by two strokes.
Notes: Tiger Woods is coming off a first-round loss to Australia’s Peter O’Malley in the Match Play Championship. Woods is winless in five international starts this year.... Three-time winner Greg Norman is making his first U.S. start of the year.... Duval and Toms also are in the field along with Sergio Garcia, Ernie Els, Davis Love III and Vijay Singh.

Course: Waikoloa Beach Resort, Beach Course (6,164 yards, par 70).
Purse: $900,000. Winner’s share: $135,000.
Television: The Golf Channel (Today-Saturday, 2-4:30 p.m., 8-10:30 p.m.).
Last year: Canada’s Lorie Kane closed with a six-under 66 at Kona Country Club for a tournament-record 11-under 205 total. Sweden’s Annika Sorenstam finished second, two strokes back.
Last event: Australia’s Karrie Webb won the Tyco/ADT Championship on Nov. 18, beating Sorenstam by two strokes.
Notes: Sorenstam opened the season last week with a playoff victory over Webb in the Australian Ladies Masters. Sorenstam ended Webb’s bid to become the first tour player to win the same event five consecutive years, winning with a par on the fourth extra hole.
