Obstetrician Held in Slaying of Son, 13
An obstetrician held in the Sunday stabbing death of her 13-year-old son resigned recently from her job at a Minnesota hospital, where one colleague had worried about her mental well-being.
Donna Anderson, 48, worked for HealthPartners at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where a co-worker described her as devoted to her patients and loving toward her son.

Anderson was being held Monday in Stephen Burns’ slaying at the Burlingame home of her ex-husband, Frank Burns.
