Praise for a Passionate Patron of the Arts

Thank you for giving space and depth to such an interesting and unusual story, “Singular Commitment” (Jan. 27) about Los Angeles art collector Kourosh Larizadeh and his importance to the artwork of Mike Kelley.

Art collectors and their motivations come in many stripes. The article profiled a person who collects art with the same passion and purity that a fine artist must summon to create a work of art. How noble Larizadeh is. How lucky artist Kelley is to have such a devoted and pervasive supporter.
