Thursday, vs. Philadelphia, 7 p.m., Fox Sports Net, ESPN2 -- Coach Ken Hitchcock has done a good job turning the Flyers into one of the best defensive teams in the league, giving up only 75 goals heading into Monday’s game at San Jose.

Saturday, vs. Dallas, 7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net -- Former King assistant Dave Tippett has coached the Stars into first place in the Pacific Division, thanks to a dominating 11-1-3-1 home record. But Dallas has struggled on the road (8-9-6) and already been shut out twice by the Kings this season.

Monday, at Minnesota, 5 p.m., Fox Sports Net -- Wild Coach Jacques Lemaire continues to rotate goaltenders Dwayne Roloson and Manny Fernandez and they have responded with the third-best combined goals-against average at 2.11. Forward Marian Gaborik is one of the game’s best young talents and he leads Minnesota in goals and points. The Kings lost to Minnesota, 5-2, at Staples Center on Nov. 4 and tied the Wild, 2-2, at Minnesota on Nov. 19.
