$25,000 Reward Posted in Student’s Slaying
City officials announced a $25,000 reward Monday for information leading to the killers of a college student outside a Los Angeles nightclub.
Roberto Bautista, 21, of Costa Mesa was attacked by at least two people believed to be gang members outside the Fais Do-Do Club on Adams Boulevard at Cloverdale Avenue about 2:15 a.m. Oct. 13, police said. When a club patron came to his aid, one of the attackers pulled out a gun and shot at both of them. Bautista died at the scene. The other person was not injured.
Police said Bautista was a business student at Orange Coast College.
