Prandium Chairman Relyea Resigns

Kevin S. Relyea has resigned as chairman and chief executive of Irvine-based Prandium Inc., which operates the Koo Koo Roo, Hamburger Hamlet and Chi Chi’s restaurant chains, the company said. Robert T. Trebing Jr. was named acting chief executive and president.
The company, which operates about 170 restaurants, is in bankruptcy reorganization.
Shares of Prandium, which trade over the counter, were unchanged at 45 cents.
