8 in Falun Gong Get Prison for TV Takeover

Eight members of the banned spiritual movement Falun Gong have been sentenced to up to 13 years in prison for briefly taking over local television and radio signals in eastern China’s Anhui province, the official New China News Agency said.
The court said there was evidence that the eight bought tools and equipment that helped them take over the signals May 31 to publicize their movement, the report said. At least 3,900 households were reportedly affected during the 30-minute takeover.
