1 Man Stabbed, Another Shot in Gang Attacks

Gang violence during the Christmas holiday left one man with gunshot wounds and a second stabbed in separate incidents in Oxnard, authorities said Thursday.
About 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jesus Pena, 22, of Oxnard was stabbed while walking in the 3700 block of South C Street. Pena was treated for an abdominal wound and released.
Earlier, a 30-year-old Oxnard man was shot in the back while standing in the 500 block of De Anza Way, authorities said. He was hospitalized in serious condition. The gunman fled.
