Thousands Without Power for Fourth Day

Thousands of Sierra Pacific Power Co. customers remain without power four days after Saturday’s storms while the utility works to repair what a spokeswoman calls its most widespread damage ever.
Slightly fewer than 10,000 customers remained in the dark in the Reno-Sparks area and parts of western Nevada and California’s Alpine County.
