$25,000 Reward Offered for Slaying Suspect
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Los Angeles police have established a $25,000 reward leading to whoever shot 19-year-old Efren Diaz Jr. at a crowded party in Highland Park on Oct. 20 and then returned to shoot him again while he lay bleeding, killing him.
Police say the investigation has been stalled by potential witnesses’ refusal to be interviewed.
