Collision With Big Rig Kills 2 Adults, 2 Children

A van carrying 14 Mexican nationals slammed into a tractor-trailer rig about eight miles east of Kanab, in southern Utah. Two children and two adults were killed, and several others were critically injured, officials said.
A girl, 7, a boy, 17, and two men in their 20s were killed in the crash, Highway Patrol Sgt. Dan Ferguson said. The survivors ranged in age from 2 to 37.
