Man Kills Wife and Shoots Self, Officials Say

A 28-year-old man fatally shot his wife at an apartment complex Monday afternoon before he shot and critically injured himself, Los Angeles police said.
The shooting was witnessed by the couple’s olderdaughter, who ran to a neighbor’s apartment for help.
The shooting occurred at 3:15 p.m. at the Bonita Apartments in the 6800 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard.
A neighbor said the 26-year-old woman and her daughters, ages 9 and 4, had been staying with relatives for about three months.
