Slain Man’s Note Aids Police Hunt for Suspects
From Times Wire Reports
Before he was shot to death, a man helped police zero in on suspects by writing a letter indicating that his live-in girlfriend and her new lover meant to kill him.
Robert Sandt, 56, found dead in his East Stroudsburg home Wednesday, left a note pointing to Teri Lynn Levanduski, 41, and Lennard Paul Fransen, 43. Both face homicide charges.
Sandt wrote that he had found letters from Fransen to Levanduski in which Fransen described their affair. Sandt wrote that in those letters, Levanduski and Fransen talked about getting rid of him, police said.
