6,000 Gallons of Sewage Spill Into Channel
From Times Staff Reports
A backup in a sewage line near Pleasant Valley and Olds roads caused about 6,000 gallons of untreated sewage to be discharged into a flood control channel.
Warning signs are posted at access points along the channel advising the public to avoid contact with the affected area until after 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
City officials said the backup was caused by a root blockage in the sewer line.
