Man Killed in Fullerton Drive-By
An 18-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Fullerton, marking the city’s first homicide this year.
Leonardo Rojas was standing in front of his apartment in the 3000 block of Garnet Lane about 10:42 p.m. Wednesday looking at loudspeakers he was considering buying. Witnesses told police a green Ford Explorer pulled up with several male passengers, all of whom had shaved heads. A young man in the front passenger seat pointed a handgun out the window and fired once, witnesses said.
Rojas was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
