Politics as a Constant
Re “Democrats’ Post-Sept. 11 Gloves Officially Come Off,” Aug. 11: Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe said that the White House was using the terrorist attacks for political gain. Duh! Anything any politician does or says is for political gain. Doesn’t McAuliffe realize that the speech he made in Las Vegas was for his party’s political gain?
