Fire Burns 45 Acres Near Pasadena Freeway

A brush fire in Elysian Park burned 45 acres on both sides of the Pasadena Freeway on Monday and snarled traffic for hours.
More than 125 firefighters, including four helicopter crews, battled the blaze for 90 minutes. The cause of the fire near Stadium Way was under investigation.
