Chalmers to Head Arden Portfolio
Los Angeles-based Arden Realty Inc. said it has selected office- leasing veteran Scott Chalmers to oversee its large portfolio of properties in the Western portion of Los Angeles.
Chalmers, who had been regional vice president of marketing and leasing for rival TrizecHahn Corp., will be in charge of leasing as well as operations for 39 Arden properties totaling 6.7 million square feet of office space, or nearly one-third of the company’s entire portfolio. Chalmers’ responsibilities also will include the 70-acre Howard Hughes Center near Westchester.
Before joining TrizecHahn, Chalmers was responsible for marketing and leasing the office properties owned by Los Angeles-based J.H. Snyder Co.
