Adlink Appoints a New President
* Bob McCauley has been appointed president of Adlink, a Los Angeles-based television-ad sales and marketing firm. The position has been restructured to include chief executive, president, executive vice president and general manager responsibilities. McCauley is a former vice president and general sales manager at KCOP-TV.
* Richard Pleasant has been promoted to chief executive of Industrial Electronic Engineers Inc., a Van Nuys-based maker of electronic displays.
Nina Sadowsky has been appointed president of production for Signpost Films, a London-based film production company. The former president of Meg Ryan’s Prufrock Pictures, Sadowsky will be based in Los Angeles.
* Scott Anderson has been named chief financial officer and vice president of Packaging Department Inc., a Los Angeles-based supply-chain and transport packaging company. He previously was chief credit officer at Arcadia Financial.
* AIG SunAmerica, an investment services firm based in Los Angeles, has made the following promotions: Michael Akers to senior vice president and chief actuary; Mary Cavanaugh to senior vice president and chief legal officer; Randall Epright to senior vice president and chief information officer; Anne Franklin to senior vice president, human resources; and N. Scott Gillis to senior vice president and controller.
* Marc Choper has been appointed senior vice president, business development, for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. He previously was a vice president of corporate projects at the studio.
* Derek Evans has been promoted to senior vice president, production, at Spyglass Entertainment, based in Los Angeles.
* Matthew Keller has been promoted to director, affiliate marketing-entertainment, affiliate sales and marketing, at Fox Cable Networks Group in Los Angeles. He will help oversee affiliate marketing efforts for both the National Geographic Channel and Fox Movie Channel.
* Executive recruiter John Wasley has joined the Los Angeles office of Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. as partner and will focus on the firm’s financial service and real estate clients. He was formerly with Russell Reynolds Associates.
* Former Edelman Public Relations vice president Sally Stewart has joined Apco Worldwide’s Los Angeles office as vice president.
* Michael Quigley has been named vice president, business development, at DMX Music, a Los Angeles-based provider of music channels. He is a former executive at Liberty Digital Inc.
* Grady Sellards has been appointed director of technical services at Moviola, a Hollywood-based post-production services firm.
* Sonya Park has been named regional director, client services, of Dimensional Fund Advisors, a Santa Monica-based money manager. She most recently was associate director of corporate finance at Corona-based Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc.
* Mark Valentine has been promoted to managing director, leasing, for Equity Office Properties Trust’s Orange County business.
