Power Marketers Must Supply Contract Data
Dynegy Inc. and other power marketers will have to report information about electricity contracts and sales under a rule approved by federal energy regulators who are seeking to make the market more transparent.
Power marketers will have to submit the information quarterly, as utilities already are required to do, according to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rule.
The regulation also changes the way utilities report their transactions and contracts, requiring them to use a specific electronic format.
