Food to Go
Delta’s food policy, which was quoted in “Taking a Long Flight? Don’t Come Hungry” (Travel Insider, March 24), is meaningless.
I traveled to Las Vegas from the Washington, D.C., area, connecting in Atlanta, a few months ago. The total flight and connection time was more than seven hours each way, with the longest flight about 41/2 hours. Did I get a meal? I got a small bag of a salty snack and a cup of juice on each flight, with no time to get food during my connection. Because my longer flight was more than four hours, I assumed I would get a meal, and I learned my lesson the hard way.
