Driver Arrested in Fatal Head-On Collision

A man allegedly driving a stolen car that collided with another vehicle, killing the driver, was arrested on suspicion of murder Tuesday, police said.
A car driven by 18-year-old Miguel Chavez of Los Angeles smashed head-on into a car driven by Glenn Charles Peters of Northridge. Peters, 66, was transported to a hospital, where he died, police said.
The incident occurred about noon Sunday at Sherman Way and White Oak Avenue.
