Baylor Is Too Hot for Fullerton
WACO, Texas — Cal State Fullerton had no answer for Baylor’s 56% shooting, losing, 92-56, to the Bears on Thursday night.
John Lucas led Baylor with 20 points and Lawrence Roberts added 15 points and six rebounds.
Baylor (5-0) made 31 of 55 shots, including 14 of 23 three-point attempts. The Titans (1-3) shot only 32% from the floor.
Six Bears also scored in double figures with Wendell Greenleaf scoring 12, Kevin Henry 11, and R. T. Guinn and Chad Elsey 10 apiece.
Brandon Campbell led Fullerton with 15 points.
The Bears led, 48-31, at halftime. The Bears have won 21 consecutive nonconference games.
