Fleming, Towers to Headline Westwood Benefit
Film and stage veterans Rhonda Fleming and Constance Towers will headline in Westwood Presbyterian Church’s 16th annual Mission Benefit Musicale at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The musical revue, written and produced by film writer A.J. Carothers, is titled “The Great American Lyric” and will feature spoken and sung lyrics from songs of the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Proceeds benefit L.A.-based assistance programs PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), Child SHARE for foster care for abused and abandoned infants and children and Westside Food Bank.
The church is at 10822 Wilshire Blvd. in Westwood. Suggested minimum donation is $25. (310) 474-4535.
