Moorpark 47, Royal 46--Taryn Milburn scored on a follow shot with two seconds left and the Musketeers (16-6, 7-4) won a Marmonte League game at Moorpark.
Kristin Nadas had 24 points and six blocked shots for Moorpark.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Thousand Oaks 54, Westlake 53--The Lancers hung on for a Marmonte League victory after Westlake failed to get off a shot in the final 15 seconds at Thousand Oaks.
Kyle Kegley scored 18 of his 24 points in the first half for No. 2-ranked Thousand Oaks (19-4, 9-1), but was held scoreless in the third quarter when Westlake outscored the Lancers, 23-13.
Kole Anderson, Tyler Adamczyk and Brandon Duplessie each scored 14 points for the Warriors (12-9, 6-4).
Chaminade 59, St. Francis 56--Jeff Hufford scored 18 points and the Eagles (17-8, 8-4) won a Mission League game at Chaminade. Center Scott Borchart, Chaminade’s leading scorer, sat out with an ankle injury.
Buckley 71, Providence 61--Royal Weaver had 15 points and the Griffins (20-2, 11-1) clinched at least a share of the Liberty League title at Providence.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
Westlake 1, Thousand Oaks 1--Caity Stevens scored the tying goal in the 31st minute to help host Westlake clinch at least a share of the Marmonte League title.
The Warriors (13-0-4, 9-0-1) remained the only undefeated team in the region.
Stevens headed in a cross off a corner kick that hit the left post and caromed into the goal.
Kelly Hess scored in the 21st minute for Thousand Oaks (11-5-3, 6-3-1). Terra Peraza had six saves for the Lancers.
