Margaret DuBosq; Nurse, Real Estate Agent
Margaret “Peggy” Jane DuBosq, a former registered nurse and retired real estate agent, died at the Victoria Care Center in Ventura following a brief illness. She was 81.
She was born May 30, 1919, in Pennsylvania. She had been a Ventura County resident for more than 50 years.
DuBosq worked as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania and later in Ventura County, where she worked for 25 years. After retiring from nursing, she was a real estate agent for nearly 20 years.
She enjoyed ballroom dancing, horseback riding, traveling and close friendships. She was an adopted grandmother to many. She was also a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Ventura for many years.
DuBosq is survived by a sister, Helen DuBosq Rice, and a brother, Albert R. DuBosq Jr., both of Pennsylvania.
A graveside service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Mark Patterson officiating.
Donations in DuBosq’s memory may be made to the endowment fund of Community Presbyterian Church, 1555 Poli St., Ventura, CA 93001.
