A 55-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and other charges after allegedly smashing her motor home into half a dozen cars and then trying to flee by ramming an apartment complex security gate, a sheriff’s deputy said Thursday.

Patricia Trammell of Canyon Country could face misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Slater of the Santa Clarita Valley station. She was cited and released on a promise to appear in court on March 2.

Slater said Trammell backed her 25-foot recreational vehicle out of a parking lot about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday and hit a parked car near Soledad Canyon and Solamint roads.

“She flees that and hits about five or six parked cars in the process,” Slater said. “Then she flees that and tries to ram through an apartment gate.”

Trammell refused alcohol testing, Slater said.
