Saddleback Rally Edges Riverside
Saddleback rebounded from a 20-point first-half deficit to defeat Riverside, 73-72, in an Orange Empire Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Saddleback.
Kevin Williams’ three-point basket with 3 minutes 4 seconds left in the first half tied the game at 33-33, as the Gauchos (24-2, 9-0) outscored the Tigers (15-12, 6-3), 27-6, in an eight-minute stretch.
In another conference game:
Cypress 96, Orange Coast 84--Abe Lorenzana scored 25 points, including five three-point baskets, as Cypress (11-14, 4-5) won at home.
