Jewish Festival Scheduled Sept. 9
The inaugural Ventura County Jewish Festival, featuring entertainment, arts and crafts, children’s games and kosher food, will be held Sept. 9 on the Cal State Channel Islands campus in Camarillo.
Titled “A Celebration of Jewish Life,” the event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Ventura County. Admission is free but parking at the Lewis Road campus will be $5.
Organizers expect people from Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles counties to attend. For more information, call (805) 647-7800.
