Eagle Rock 24, Verdugo Hills 7--Nick Valencia had 136 yards and two touchdowns in 18 carries at Eagle Rock.
Bill Parra scored on a two-yard run late in the third quarter to cut Eagle Rock’s lead to 21-7.
Parra finished with 50 yards in 14 carries and teammate Michael Cloud had 61 yards in 17 carries.
Wes Tom of Verdugo Hills (0-4) completed three of 18 passes for 36 yards and had two passes intercepted.
Eagle Rock’s Leonard Golson returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead.
Torwin Session of Eagle Rock (2-2) completed 13 of 24 passes for 150 yards.
