We Want to Hear About Your Club
The Times is interested in hearing from Southland investment clubs about how they’re coping with the wild market this year.
Specifically, we’re interested in finding out what clubs are buying and selling lately. For example, has your club trimmed its technology stake--or is it adding more tech names now? Is the club more focused on “old economy” or “value” stocks now? Why, or why not?
We also are interested in the tone of club discussions in recent months. Do some members believe the market is in the midst of a significant turn that could leave some stocks, and sectors, out of favor for several years? Do some members argue that the market is offering spectacular stock bargains today?
Send e-mail comments and updated portfolios to Times Senior Markets Editor Tom Petruno at [email protected]. Or write to Tom Petruno at Business, Los Angeles Times, 202 W. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA, 90012. Please include a contact phone number.
Information you send us may appear in a future article. The Times also hosts clubs for discussions periodically, though the number of clubs we can host yearly is limited.
