* “Six at Eight: Eighth Annual West Coast Ten-Minute Play Festival,” April 27 to May 18: Features winners of a national short-play contest based in Orange County.
* “Noises Off” by Michael Frayn, May 25 to June 10 at the Curtis Theatre in Brea: A wild, backstage farce about a British acting company that implodes while on tour.
* “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove” by Jane Chambers, June 22 to July 21: A 1980s play that has been described as “something like ‘Love Story’ set among a group of lesbian women on holiday at the shore.”
* “A View from the Bridge” by Arthur Miller, Aug. 17 to Sept. 15: The relationship between new and more established immigrants is at the core of this tragedy that takes place among a family of Italian-American longshoremen in Brooklyn.
* “Foxfire” by Susan Cooper and Hume Cronyn, Oct. 12 to Nov. 10: Adapted from a popular series of nonfiction books about life in Appalachia, this 1982 play and subsequent TV movie starred Cronyn and wife Jessica Tandy as a couple in rural Georgia.
* “Raised in Captivity” by Nicky Silver, Nov. 20 to Dec. 22: Estranged siblings come together at their mother’s funeral in this comedy, which had its West Coast premiere at South Coast Repertory in 1995.
