A suggestion for our baseball teams: The Dodgers sign Darren Dreifort and then trade him and Devon White to the Angels for two of their young pitchers and Orlando Palmeiro.

The Dodgers would take a big chunk out of their payroll, which would have given them money to strengthen their bench or go for Alex Rodriguez. The Angels’ modest payroll can absorb the two big contracts and give them what they sorely need, a quality starting pitcher.
