YORBA LINDA
Yorbie, the guide dog sponsored by the Yorba Linda Lions Club, has found a home. The Lions Club sponsored the energetic black Labrador with the hopes that he might be matched with a local resident, but the man found the dog’s pace too fast for his liking and teamed up with a mellower pooch instead. Guide Dogs of the Desert Director Charlie Daniels said Yorbie has since been matched with William Shilling of Jacumba. Both dog and partner will graduate from the guide dog academy Saturday.
