Ice Dogs Beaten in a Shootout

COLORADO SPRINGS —  The Ice Dogs lost Thursday night as Glenn Stewart’s shootout goal sent the Colorado Gold Kings to a 5-4 victory.

Craig Lyons also scored against Ice Dog goalie Marten Engren in the shootout.

The Ice Dogs (4-1-4) trailed Colorado (3-4-1), 4-2, in the third period before Vashi Nedomansky and Mark Ferner forced the shootout, scoring at 13:16 and 15:08, respectively.
