Washington 5, Van Nuys 3--Tiffany Mester had two hits and an RBI for Van Nuys in a semifinal at South Gate Park.

Nancy Lopez and Letty Ruiz each had one hit and one RBI for the Wolves (12-16), who allowed three unearned runs during a five-run fourth inning.
