LA PALMA
The Police Department honored the latest graduates of its Citizens’ Police Academy program during a recent ceremony in the City Hall council chamber. Police Chief Vince Giampa and Community Policing Sgt. Eric Nunez presented the graduating class with department lapel pins to note their accomplishment. During the 10-week course, graduates took classes in 911 communications, the criminal justice system and police safety. The next classes will be offered during the fall.
