Four years ago, he was a fund-raising hero at the Democratic convention. This year, Johnny Chung says a judge has ordered him to stay away. Now a pariah who’s on probation for campaign and tax violations, Chung had been assigned by an Internet daily to cover the convention, but he says he realizes approaching party officials would be difficult. “They will run away,” he says.
