Police Investigate North Hills Slaying
NORTH HILLS — A young man was shot to death on Parthenia Street early Saturday evening, police said.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was shot about 6:15 p.m. near the corner of Parthenia and Columbus Avenue, said Sgt. William McAllister of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division.
The man was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he was pronounced dead, McAllister said.
The slaying is being investigated by Devonshire homicide detectives.
