Living Wage
Re “Minimum Wage Isn’t a Living,” Oct. 18.
If our tax burden wasn’t so high, the wages these folks are getting paid would be enough and the “living wage” issue wouldn’t be. Eliminate the income tax completely and go to a consumption tax and wages would flourish.
