Members of the Rossmoor Women’s Club will be assisting volunteer nurses in giving free flu shots to senior citizens and the chronically ill at the Los Alamitos Community Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
Health officials advise anyone allergic to eggs or those under a physician’s care for an illness to consult with their doctor before receiving the vaccine.
Appointments are not required. The center is at 10911 Oak St.
