The Echoes and Visions Art show, scheduled for Nov. 6 to 7, will feature the work of artists from more than 40 states. The show’s jury--local artist Jacobus Baas and Cal State Northridge professor Ernest Valardi--will set the tone for the exhibit, which is different each year.
“Last year, one of the jurors was into avant-garde stuff and the show was really off the wall,” said Neil Burns, chairman of the art show committee. “I don’t know what this year’s jurors’ concept of art is, so it will be a big surprise.”
The Echoes and Visions Art Show is from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 6 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at Sea Country Senior and Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Road. Information: (949) 582-2595.
